Re: Snowfella's cactus trials
Crikey, been a while since I updated last!
With spring out in full force here downunder, hit 35C earlier on in the week, things are very much starting to wake up both out in the garden and on the benches. Most potted plants are still working on filling in all the wrinkes a dry winter brought on but just about everything made it through winter in one piece.
Here's a little photobomb incoming hot of the camera, no energy to get the regular photo setup out so everything is straight off the benches.
Start up with bench living plants.
Some Stenocactus buds, first for the season.
M. magnimamma is almost over it's first flush.
M. spinosissima "un pico" starting up
Regular ones are not far behind
Tiny M. unchinata tries not to be outdone.
Epi corner is going to explode soon.
And some outdoors action.
Unknown Tricho starting it's first buds for me.
O. macrocentra working on a "few" buds
Same goes for some of my Echinopsis hybrids
Unknow Mammillaria starting up aswell.
N. lenninghausii
No telling how big this one is going to get, M. geometrizans
And lastly what the last downpour did to my poor san pedro, 10 inch split

Re: Snowfella's cactus trials
Been Echinopsis and Trichocereus time in the outdoors bed, still quite a few buds left to open too.
First 2 taken in pitch black conditions the other night.
Seconds taken early this morning while the bed was still in the shade.

Re: Snowfella's cactus trials
It's indeed been a while since I updated anything
Garden is still going, had some first flowers on my Trich's this spring but it's right now in a bad case of neglect and needs some serious weeding out I'm afraid. Life got in the way and I let it go way to far.
Really have to knuckle down and do something about it one of these days
