Thanks.
Can't speak for Maja but I do understand both spoken and written Norwegian as I'm a Swede by birth. Speaking it though is beyond me! lol

I do not. I can barely speak English. But I get a kick from time to time to use a Google translator. Image

Wouldn't you believe I missed that Lobivia! Went to work in the morning with it still closed and came home to a fully wilted flower, did the same darn thing to me last year too ](*,)

Luckily I didn't miss these ones as it's likely going to be a few days before I get more. Weather has turned to crap in the last few days, we do need the rain but not in the amounts that we are getting right now.

M. duweii waking up from it's winter shrinkage.

First M. mazatlanensis for the season.

T. horripilus flowered again.

Same with this Rebutia

Another Rebutia something or another.

And what I had hoped it would be, as near white flowered Rebutia as I've been able to find.

I like the last rebutia its vey pretty.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.

Yup, kicking off bigtime. Though if I'm unlucky now it will be quite some time before I can get some new decent photos. Old camera body has developed a glitch that slowly has been getting worse, the aperature/shutter wheel has started sticking/skipping and while taking some photos the other day it finally gave in fully.
Can't afford either repair or replacement at the moment so I've had to resort to a home brew attempt at a fix, hitting it with an electronic solvent/cleaner and hoping it will resolve the issue. Fingers crossed as I won't know for atleast another 20 minutes if it worked, didn't work or killed the camera outright 8-[

Here's 3 from the other day.

Unhappy Mammillaria, body has all of a sudden turned bright red. :-k

Fantastic photos! Growing cacti outdoors year-round is one of the things I miss from downunder.

It is indeed beeing somethat spoiled, only plants I bring in for winter is my Melocacti. The rest I just leave dry for the duration of winter and don't really have to many losses.

Few more from the last few days.

Nice plants! I wish it was spring here already. :P That Maihueniopsis looks like M. russellii. That's a nice specimen!

Been a while since I updated this post, strangely enough with a warm spring and hot start of summer flowers have been far between on anything other than Mammillarias. Guessing I'm as usual shooting myself in the foot by underwatering as I usually do. :-k

Here's atleast some flowers, buds and new recruits from earlier on in the day.

M. baumii with only it's second flower of the season.
Image

My M. mazatlanensis plants are finally starting to kick in, outdoors grown ones are starting to show buds aswell.
Image

M. polythele inermis is kicking off aswell.
Image

Second Copiapoa of the season, humilis I'm guessing
Image

First flower ever on this desert rose
Image

And first bud ever on this one, might finally find out what it really is as it onlycame labeled as "arequipa". I'm guessing it will turn out to be a Matucana.
Image

Selenicereus bud.
Image

And 2 newcomers to the bench.
First an un-named Copiapoa
Image

And secondly the first S. raushii I've seen for sale locally, alittle etiolated but with the sun we are having that ought to grow out quick. Nice big plant in a 10cm square pot.
Image

And not to worry, I've treated it for Mealies

Thanks for the show, Snowfella, esp. the very happy-looking rauschii -- a plant that I'm still struggling with! My 3rd one is in apparent contented Winter "Snoozeland"! Nice Seleni bud. I got a cutting of one in the "Round Robin" box that I'm not sure is even rooting, never mind signs of new growth .
Dan, you're in deep psychological doo-dah if you're wishing for Spring in the 1st week of January [-X Talk to your resting Babies & tell them you know what a "Great Show" they're going to put on when it's time for them to wake up! :D

There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

This looks to me like Cumulopuntia boliviana (or syn.: Maihueniopsis boliviana)
