Bonus-Track
One of the first motors worldwide.
Piston motor or atmospheric engine from Otto. This is the original from 1864.
Stands in Köln, works.
And was on September 10th to visit. More about this soon.
Once a year, there is the Day of the Open Monument. Wonderful thing!!!

We have the same thing, throughout the Netherlands one can visit a lot of monuments and castles that are normally closed to the public, free entrance (although for some you need to registrer and are limited in the number of visitors). Of some it is a one-off opportunity, others are open every year. Two days even.

Unfortunately it is right during the ELK weekend every year... (but it looks like in Germany it is in the same weekend, looking at your photo stamp date?)
