My native climate is already pretty good. During the summer I only need to provide light shade, and during the winter I need to protect the plants from occasional killing frosts and lots of winter rain.
I'm a college prof, so I used this winter break between semesters to construct an outdoor growing area.
I'm not a skilled carpenter, but am pleased with the results!

That's a neat little build. I could do with something like that for my cold-loving plants and I'd forgotten about that corrugated plastic sheeting. I may have to make my own at some point.
