Very interesting, and very similar in principle to my little greenhouse. My only real problem is that we have a large pine tree positioned not too far away which blocks off the much needed sun during the winter, so that it has to wait until after lunchtime before it hits the greenhouse. We are planning to get this removed hopefully soon. I also like the plastic covered greenhouses and think they are so practical, just no not so attractive I suppose.

I suppose if the shelves come out you could also use the small plastic covered greenhouses sold on EBAY as a temporary cover for either single or multiple bedded out plants in winter?

But knocking together a simple wood frame is not very difficult.
