Howdy All - My 1st post and you guessed it, looking for some help with an ID. In any case was getting ready to re-pot a badly neglected cacti salvaged from my sister-in-law in South Dakota, but lo-and-behold it was flowering. Needless to say, I will delay re-potting now until after its done blooming (two individual flowers about a week apart thus far). I'm thinking its a Mammillaria, possibly prolifera, but sure would like to know for sure exactly what species. Of the photos posted, one includes a standard sized cats-eye marble for some size perspective. Thanks much y'all and I look forward to any and all replies.
Mammillaria? Any idea as to what species?

Mammillaria prolifera.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Agreed. Tough little guys, not surprised it's in bloom. You're far more likely to kill these with overwatering than you are with neglect (not kidding, I've done that). Put them in small pots so the medium dries out quickly, since they are fairly rot-prone in soggy soil.
