Neoraimondia?

Post by Spikylover »

I was looking up stenocereus marginatus and found this photo. The columnar on the center left that is branched close to the top, is that a neoraimondia? I've seen N. Herzogiana but all are very young and look nothing like this.

Thanks,
Rachel.

I would have thought it would be flowering at that size with the characteristic Neoraimondia areoles like miniature cephaliums if it was?

I think it is Neoraimondia herzogiana but maybe still young or the season is not right.

It's definitely Neoraimondia
