Columnar id
Last unidentified columnar from this year. Any pointers to the genus are greatly appreciated! Species is not necessary. If i know the genus i'll do my research. Could be a Pilosocereus chrysacanthus but doesnt feel very Pilosocereus-y and spines are not as dense

The brownish bit in the center spines. Espotoa or cleistocactus.
Ribs and stem a sorta different from pilosocereus.
What about spine sharpness?

Espostoa! Looks very similar to espostoa guenerthii.
Thanks stefan.
I should have figured this out earlier since i had an espostoa guenerthii a couple of years back labelled as vatricana guenerthii

Classification is messy. Always will be.
But yeah, it does look like a white-spined es.guentheri.
