What is this?

If you have a cactus plant and need help identifying it, this is the place to post it.

Hi all,
sorry about the delay in replying, I've been flooded with work!
I also think that the spines on Trichocereus are more prominent, longer and thicker than on the original cacti (I collected the pups with only toilet paper to protect my hands).
Huasha seems to be a closer match, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what the flowers look like IF I manage to get them to bloom?
Oh and IF I manage to learn how to resize files to make them fit in the forum

PS on a positive note I have found three new succulents to add to my collection yesterday... I'm definitely turning into a hoarder...

Size difference. Yours is larger. Also, there are other mislabeled types - I chose the average.

Oh well, at least we have reduced the possibilities to 1 or 2, which is a lot better than what I had done on my own, so cheers for the help!
We'll wait and see how they grow :)

When ilook up shinkedantzi it looks closer to Carnegiea than this.
Also its tinner.
I have an young E. schickendantzii with even weaker that these spines, this is a good suggestion.

And tops of big Saguaro stems are almost bare...
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
