A fifth ID ... castle cacti?

Post by ianc »

Hi again.
Here it the fifth addition to my cacti collection.

Currently 2" tall in a 2" pot.
The majority of the branches have five ribs, some have four.

I have seen some pictures that suggest it could be Cereus tetragonus but the pictures of c. tetragonus on cactiguide are nothing like this one.
Pictures of Cereus floridanus seem to be a closer match.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Cereus floridanus is acanthocereus tetragonus cv fairy castle or acanthocereus floridanus forma monstruosa. So many names you choose one.
There are more cacti in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
One of the few cactus lovers in Lebanon (zone 11a)
