Okay it looks like a cactus and I think it is, though it does not have spines. It was sold as a cactus but no name was given. It is about 3cm wide and 6cm long. Sorry I don't know the imperial measurements.

Could be Mammillaria polythele inermis. I don' t know about any other nude mammillarias
