Post by loganadr »

Hello all,

I just purchased this cactus and would appreciate any help identifying it so I can make sure it gets the proper care it needs. Thanks!

This is an euphorbia and it's actually a succulent not a cactus

Looks like a 'normal' form of E. lactea (they are often sold as variegated and crested)

Yep - fortunately, it's not a real fast grower. It can be pruned. too - but be careful of the sap. Like all Euphorbias, the milky sap is toxic and a strong irritant. Be especially careful not to get it in your eyes!
