In order to do a decent job at trying to figure out even the genus of your plants, it would be best, if you could take a few shots of the plants from a closer distance, showing a side view of the live part of each and a top view. You could also provide some measurements of the stem diameter, spine length, number of central spines and radial spines, etc.. The plants pictured must have had a hard life. However, they most likely will do fine, if given the proper care. The color of their stems is a bit too yellowish green, which could indicate a nutrient deficiency. Also, the roots are missing. I hope for you, that they do not have an internal rot and as a result are on their way out.
