Unknown Gymno?

Post by teo »

What is this. I would assume a gymnocalycium (from the buds) but which? The side view doesn't look that much gymno to me.

Gymnocalycium eurypleurum, G. monvillei or a hybrid ? Ribs are strange.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Gymnocalycium chiquitanum. I had a nice one until a few years ago. This is a nice clean example with lots of buds.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!

This seems to be correct (or at least the best match). Thanks
