Re: White flowered Mammillaria to ID
I would have said schiedeana as well. I been fancying one of these for a while now, they are one of the nicer neat and pretty mammillaria.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Hi Maja,
Mammillaria schiedeana. The Germans call it "Gold Moss", since some examples have really golden spines, but the spines can vary from yellow to white.

There is also a feathery white spined form called Mammillaria schiedeana var. plumosa (not to be confused with Mammillaria plumosa, a different plant) which like M. plumosa has plumose feathery or hairy spines if you look at them using a magnifying glass.
