A gift from a friend, this cactus has beautiful purple capped, salmon flowers hanging from the tip. She has grown 5 feet in 3 months and has weathered, with flowers through our Florida freezes without effect.
Any help identifying her is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

It's a kalanchoe, it would help if you added a picture of the leaves.
There is no cactus you can't eat, but you just might regret it if you eat the wrong one.

Thats a Kalanchoe (not a cactus; it is a succulent of the Crassulaceae family).
Leaves are useful to ID, because flowers can be very similar. I guess is K. daigremontiana or K. tubiflora.
Be careful, it propagates very quickly and will colonize all of your pots!
