Two new cacti - I think I may know what they are?

Post by miss_taken_identity »

So I got two new cacti over the week and did some research on them and got some names but wondering if I could get a confirm or deny.

1. Echinopsis Denudata syn seminuda

2. Stenocactus multicostatus syn Echinofossulocactus multicostatus

Thanks in advance

1) Echinopsis subdenudata or Echinopsis oxygona
2) Stenocactus. I don't dare IDing the species, I'll leave that to someone else.
I suck at identification :dontknow:

Thank you magi, judging from what it looks like I think the first one is the first suggestion you have but we will have to wait and see when it blooms

You are EVER so welcome! One of the things that I love about this forum is that EVERYONE I have run across is friendly, polite, kind, willing to give of their time to help out others ... well, ALMOST everyone ... the few that are not are few and far between. I have been treated SO well here by the other members that I cannot help but want to return the favor when I can.
