I've got an Echinocereus pentalophus, which I got the same way you did - from a packet of mixed cactus seed. I have a Ferocactus from the same packet but wasn't able to identify it until it was much older than the one you have. Mine turned out to be Ferocactus pilosus, which is a possibility for yours - but you'll have to wait a few years to tell, many look similar at this age.
