Some sort of Gymno but which one?

It looks bizarre or severely neglected.

Its fried! Either G. stenopleurum or G. anisitsii. Hard to tell at the moment. G. anisitsii has prominent grey pollen, G. stenopleurum not so much. Neither of them do well in full sun, although they love it hot. They will colour up naturally, but this one has gone a little beyond nicely coloured up :)

Amazing that it's alive, but there's green in the top of it so there's hope.

Put that poor thing in some shade - its toasted. I'm suprized it even flowered.
