What kind of succulent is this?

I have this plant and it started out pretty small but now it is a lot bigger and has weird alien like stalks with pointy flowers growing out of it. It also reproduces at such a rapid pace I am having trouble with keeping up on all the babies and now the babies are having babies. I really love the plant but would like to learn more about it.
