Help a Newbie ID these common (i think) cacti?

Post by miki117 »

Hey guys, I'm extremely new at this one. I just found these on sale and thought that they look awesome, so I bought 3 (1 for me, 2 for my gf). When I got home, I forgot to ask the seller the names! Upon research, here's what I've found

I got a:
1) Fairy Castle Cactus (1st pic, right) - I'm pretty sure on this one
2) Gymnocalycium Bruchii (1st pic, left) - I'm 50/50 on this one. Help me pinpoint this cactus' name?
3) I have no idea (2nd pic) - I think this is one of those common barrel cacti

Fairy Castle and some kind of Gymnocalycium, if I'm not mistaken

First photo left is probably an echinopsis (echinopsis oxygona for example)
I don't see a 2nd picture

That looks a lot nearer! I've made a quick search about it and echinopsis ancistrophora looks about right. I'm not sure, though.

Yeah, 2nd picture ends up with a fatal error. Let me try to attach it here.

Might be a Parodia (Notocactus) but it's hard to tell without a flower.
