Help with ID

Post by primeaued »

Hi all. Greetings from San Jose, Ca. New to cactus and succulents and bought some unmarked plants. Lesson learned. Here are the first few. Can anybody help me so I can get my plants marked correctly?

Photo #3 is certainly Notocactus (now Parodia) leninghousii. I may have mis-spelled leninghausii). #2 belongs to the Mammillaria genus, someone will be along soon to give you the species.

The second image is most likely a Mammillaria sp.

Not spinosissima - this has hooked spines.

With those tight hooks, #2 looks like Mammillaria magnifica.
Z, in (mostly) sunny Lisbon.

#1 looks like stenocereus dumortierii (just a guess), or something in the stenocrereus family.
