Help identifying my new Mammillaria please!

Post by chthonianqueen »

I got this as a gift and there was no information attatched on name or how to care for it. The flowers have withered now and its just a spiny little plant, but I'd still like to learn to take care of it.

Yes, it's a cactus. A Mammillaria, but which species I'm not sure.
I'm sure someone will have an answer for you. :)

Mammillaria for sure. Needs a real pot (with drainage) and soil appropriate for a cacti. See this article for info on soil.
