Echinocereus ... but which one???
On this board some of the following cacti have been identified as Echinocereus Triglochidiatus. To my untutored eyes, the first two are of one species and the next three are of a different species (maybe two species). Do you agree? All of these pictures were taken in the Santa Fe New Mexico foothills at about 7300 feet of elevation.

E. triglochidiatus is highly variable. It's also easily confused with some other species, such as E. fendleri, E. coccineus. See - http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx? ... =242415252" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

E.triglochidatus (first two plamts) and E.caccinneus.
Flowers look somewhat similar so some people combine these two species under one name. Regardless, these are no doubt two different plants.
