Yeah that should still be ok just keep the roots dry for a while and make sure it faces the same direction it originally did when back in its normal light and position.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

This is a picture of the cacti after the warm season. Not sure if it's any better then it was before it got repotted. What do you all think?
About overwintering this guy, it's getting colder here, night are arround 2°C / 35F. Does it have to be inside (where it's around 22°C / 70F) till spring?
Thanks for help again!

It's hard to tell how the roots are doing without getting them out but is still alive and has not rotted so that's a good sign its ok. If it's kept dry 2°c is ok but if keeping it dry is an issue outside bring it in. What are you day ti e temperatures like if is still about 18°c it may still well be growing so is fine to leave outside.

Thanks for your imput and advice.
I don't want to put it through more stress, so I won't disturb the roots yet, I hope it will get better in the spring.
Trough day there's around 17°C. When the winter comes I'll put it somewhere where it's not too warm, maybe in a basement. How cold does it need to be for it to enter dormancy?

Looks like it's plumper than it was, I think it's doing great. Best to keep it below 10 deg. C for the winter if possible - http://www.cactus-art.biz/note-book/Dic ... r_rest.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

It looks like a Gymnocalycium saglionis to me.

I see a ferocactus with variegated green (not yellow)stem, if I'm correct than the tissue that lacks chlorophyll is weak makes it more susceptible to sunburns , diseases ,rot and other defects ,the cultivation care that others have given is the same advice I would give you
