Myrtillocactus geometrizans (I think)

Post by mraroid »

Hi folks...

I am calling this puppy Myrtillocactus geometrizans. Five ribs which are rounded - not coming to a sharp point. One massive spine that is as long as about 3 cm. The other three spines are very small. The older larger spines are white'ish. The new spins on the top of the cactus are black to deep red at the base. It is slightly concave between each areole, which are about 4 cm from each other.

My stem is about 3 inches (12cm) in diameter.

Anyone have any other ideas on this bad boy?

Thanks everyone..

jack

That's probably what I would call it too.
