Hi cactus people, just wondered if anyone could help me with this cactus we bought off a roadside stall a while ago. What is it and how can we propagate it? Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give.

Echinopsis grandiflorus or a similar Echinopsis hybrid. If no branches (offsets) are formed you will need another similar plant to pollinate it in order to get seeds. From which more mature plants can be produced but for longer time.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
