Ariocarpus ID's

Post by kal9988 »

I picked up 3 Ariocarpus plants today, but I'm not 100% sure which are Fissuratus or the other types/variations. Can anyone help me?

The second looks like Ariocarpus fissuratus var. hintonii.

Thanks! I thought so, but wanted verification. What about it makes it a hintonii versus the other two Fissuratus plants?

Its the general look, the colours and the way they grow, more raised up and open spiral. They are more correctly labeled ariocarpus bravoanus hintonii and do look more like the bravoanus group.

My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
