Can someone confirm the ID of this beautiful plant for my daughter please? I have an idea but would like a more knowledgeable opinion if possible. Thank you.
My daughter who lives in Australia, rescued this from an old lady. It was covered in cobwebs and neglected. Iris (my daughter) who has never had interest in cactii nor succulents, thought that it was sprouting another off-shoot so you can imagine her surprise this morning when going outside and finding this. She was so amazed that she went and called her husband to have a look and took this photo for me. I think another convert on the way........

Re: Another Convert?
Probably Echinopsis schickendantzii.
Re: Another Convert?
Thank you so much. Echinopsis is what I was thinking ( or Trichocereus / Lobivia) but the species eluded me. Thank you again.
