Found this solitary Mammillaria near Tombstone, Arizona. It's a fat mamm by my standards, about 12 cm in diameter. The detail image reveals it has four hooked central spines. Mammillaria wrightii, maybe?

Maybe wrightii, but I'm thinking grahamii looks more likely.

Consider M. viridiflora. Big for that species though. Big for M. wrightii too, but other than size it doesn't look like M. grahamii to me, especially in close up.

Size is the only thing making me doubt it's wrightii. M. viridiflora/barbata does look like another possibility.
