Help to classify a specimen

Post by tacrolimus »

Hello all.
Once again I need your help to classify one of my plants.
The specimen pictured has a diameter of 7-8 cm.
I think it is a gymnocalycium, but on the web I have not found a species that corresponds enough.
Can you help?

Thanks in advance for any help
Regards
Luigi

Hi again.

Could it be a Gymnocalycium griseo-pallidum?

People who know Gymnos well will tell that you cannot ID it unless it grows in the wild, or is grown from seeds from good source.. With couple exceptions of very distinct-looking species.
