Mammillaria camptotricha and Echinocereus morricalii

Based on the small white flower, I'd say #1 is Mammillaria decipiens. #2 is probably the same thing that's had quite a few spines knocked off.

Vlani posted while I was typing - we're actually in agreement on that, camptotricha is considered a subspecies of decipiens by many authorities.

Figured the one I got was a Mammillaria,
really liked all the new growth.

Yes, I'd say you chose well - that one's going to make a nice clump in no time. A few missing spines won't even be noticeable a year from now.
