~ Need help with a lot of baby cacti I.D. ~

Post by fleurencia »

Hello! I am a new member here and a proud new mother to a small collection of baby cacti and some succulents. I absolutely adore the little white cacti that I'm finding online, and so far I have an Arizona Snowcap (Mammillaria Gracilis) and a Feather Cactus (Mammillaria Plumosa) in my indoor garden. I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify some of these that I found from a seller on Etsy (they are sold in a random set and I want to purchase them individually from another source) as I've done a lot of research on my own and haven't made much progress. I think one of them might be Peruvian Old Lady, but I could be wrong!

I marked the ones I would like to know with a heart next to them. Thanks :D

Sure that's Parodia scopa Iann? Flowers from the apex would hint at Parodia haselbergii for me.

Looks more like haselbergii to me, too. Also, ian, you seem to have skipped the middle one in the second row down, which looks like Parodia magnifica.

That's twice Ian, your getting as bad as me, Senior Moments! I occasionally do it by substituting plants with the same initial letters, Cleistocactus strausii when I mean Chamaecereus silvestrii, not much difference! We know what we mean, even if we can't say it!
