Stenocereus Pruinosus

Post by linkan »

Got my hands on this little thing today thinking its a stenocereus pruinosus but not sure.
Any thoughts?
And would it work to cut it down to get rid of the weak growth?

Yes stenocereus pruinosus does look right. Should be ok to chop the nice looking top off to re-root. You may wanna keep the bottom to harvest the new offsets it will grow too.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

I'm also thinking it's likely a Polaskia, but not really sure. Definitely needs to be cut off and re-rooted.
