Which gymnocalycium?

Post by Jules77 »

Hi,

Could anybody help me with identifying this gymnocalycium? I can narrow it down a bit by the colour of its flowers (white), but there are still a few possibilities.

Thanks.

I don't know what Gymnocalycium this is. But I do know what that white fluff is on this plant... You want to get rid of this, so I would advice you to scrape if off and repeat this regularly until you see no more of this.

Gymnocalycium damsii?
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

Thanks Ade,

Having done a spot of Googling, that one seems most likely.

That's a nice one (and not a mealybug in sight!). :-)

Thank goodness for that DaveW, I thought maybe I was just rubbish at this cacti collecting malarky. You have put my mind at ease :thumbright:
