An Echinocereus triglochidiatus and a Lobivia?

If you have a cactus plant and need help identifying it, this is the place to post it.

An Echinocereus triglochidiatus and a Lobivia?

Post by tacrolimus »

Hello all.

I would greatly appreciate some help in order to classify these two small cacti, both not more than 5 or 6 cm tall.
As i wrote in subject line, I've tentatively labelled the first one as Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. gonacanthus.
As for the second plant, i'm guessing it is a Lobivia of some sort, but i couldn't find an exact match so far.
Am i looking in the right direction or am i totally wrong.

Thanks for any kind of feedback
Luigi

possibly stenocereus too, might need it to age a bit and flower for correct ID on that one.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

I would suggest either Echinopsis oxygona or a hybrid for plant 2.
