Cactus Identification

Post by cp2702 »

Dear All

I have been gifted with this beautiful cactus shown below, but I do not know what variety it may be.

Would anyone be able to shed a little light on what this may be, so I can learn more about how to properly care for it?

Welcome, it's a zebra (or tiger) aloe variegata
All cacti are succulents, but NOT all succulents are cacti!
I personally luv this aloe mines puttingout 3 pups at the moment, but mine desperately needs a repot Cause it's roots may be bound :(

And repot it in a bigger pot with 50/50 cacti&succulent mix and perlite make sure the pot has drainage holes
And only water when the soil is dry.

Give it plenty of light to keep it looking good. Pretty easy grower, though I did manage to give mine root rot. So, yeah, don't overwater it.

I cut mine off and re-rooted it, now growing like a weed again - but it was quite a setback for it,
