Is this gymnocalycium friedrichii?

Is this gymnocalycium friedrichii?

Plant isn't in bloom so can't see if flowers are pink. Looks very pale not like others I've seen. Ribs can help with Id but I'm not good at telling difference.

I'd say not. One of the other species in subgenus Muscosemineum. Maybe G. damsii or some other type of G. anisitsii. Seeing the flowers open would help. All the G. anisitsii group have grey pollen.
