Hello, I am new to the forum. I thought I would post these two that have given me trouble thus summer.
Number one as far as research has shown me is echinopsis of some type
This one I have no clue. But care less about for some reason. I thought I overwatered and rotted it so I lopped the top off to try and root. Turns out it was just fine the top is still trying to shoot roots down months later and the bottom lived...

Yes, you're right 0 the first one is an Echiniopsis. I think the second one might be too. If it's a true species then the first one is E. oxygona but there are are hundreds of similar looking hybrids. E. oxygona is quite common though.
