In need of some ID!!!

Post by Redthil »

Hey everyone, new guy here. I picked up some cacti during the summer months and and realised that when I got home they had no stickers on them. Looking to get all of the names for these guys so that they will be happy for years to come!!! I was told that the first one was a cereus monstrose but as for the others I have no clue. Thanks in advance!!!!

Second one looks like Mammillaria parkinsonii.

The last one could be Gymnocalycium damsii.
Cactus enthusiast on and off since boyhood. I have a modest collection of cacti & succulents.

The last one looks more like matucana poltzii. Also I think the first one could be cereus peruvianus montrose but I could be wrong, something about the shape and spines does not seem right for it.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

#1 Some sort of monstrose Cereus.
#2 M. parkinsonii. Watch out, this is a big one!
#3 M. pringlei
#4 G. damsii. M. polzii has sharper ribs and fewer spines. Flowers would clinch the ID.
