Both of these plants were sold to me a number of years ago as F viridescens. Me thinks mistaken identity and I would love to have the correct information. Both plants are about 6" in diameter and 8" high. They have been growing outside for 4 to 6 years. Both have numerous pups growing off the main body.

Hard to be sure from the picture, but looks like an Echinopsis to me?

Very unusual ferocactus!
Who did you get them from Cap?
Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!
