Hi all, I have mostly succulents in my collection, but this guy has been in my bunch since the beginning. Never really know what it is.
I've had some people saying that it's Mammillaria, but not quite sure which kind.
Any help is appreciated!
It is now sitting in the middle of my succulent dish
Is it a Mammillaria? Which kind?

Thanks! I looked it up, but it seems like its spikes are much denser and also has some fuzzy hairs, which isn't present on my cactus...

Looks a little like one I posted a few weeks back, which seems to be M. parkinsonii. I'm really new to this, though, so there's a very good chance I'm wrong!

Possibly parkiinsonii, though it's hard to tell for sure. If you could get a closeup looking straight down on the top of the plant it would help.

The reason I asked for a top-down view is M. parkinsonii has quite a lot of wool at the apex. You'd expect it to be somewhat less growing on a windowsill instead of outside in direct sun, but it still should be fairly wooly - and it is. Probably parkinsonii.

Awesome, thanks! I'm guessing these are quite slow growing because it is one of my first plants, and so far it hasn't grown much at all.
