Cactus Identification (10, close ups)

Post by Cactor »

Hello! I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help with identification and some tips. I recently purchased nine cacti and I'm wondering what they are.

Here are some close ups:

I've labeled the ones that I believe to be correct. Thanks for the identification on those. :D

Thanks!

I'll take a shot at a few....
Back row center, Cereus peruvianus monstrose?
back row right, Polaskia chichipe
middle row left, Pilosocereus sp.?
middle row center, Mammillaria elongata?
back row left looks a bit like Brasiliopuntia brasiliensis, but hard to tell from pic.
Yes, close ups would be more helpful.

Front middle looks like Mammillaria decipiens and middle right might be Mammillaria geminispina

I compiled all the close ups into an album so that it doesn't flood the page.

The ones that I believe to be correctly identified are labeled.

1. Consolea rubescens
2. Pilosocereus sp.
3. Opuntia monacantha monstrosa variegata
4. Maybe Mammillaria spinosissima cv 'un pico'
5. Familiar, but I can't think of the name.
6. Not Mammillaria elongata. Mammillaria sphacelata ssp. viperina (M. viperina).
10. Mammillaria spinosissima ssp. pilcayensis

#5 looks like Pachycereus sp. seedlings to me. But don't hold me to that.

I think you got it-- did a quick Google image check and it looks exactly like it. Thank you so much! :D
