New Arrival for ID

Post by coltonschultz »

Hey all, just picked this little guy up from a local nursery, but no tag :(
I've definitely seen this one before, but even the genus seems to escape me

Tephrocactus articulatus v. inermis. I think the strobiliformis variety has differently shaped stem segments, more tuberculate (ie like a pinecone). And then there's the diadematus form, which has long, spineless cladodes.
