watered cacti after repot

Post by MartP »

So I bought a few new cacti, I cleaned the roots of the old substrate and left them to dry a few days. Potted them in my substrate and now I watered them by a mistake instead of keeping them dry. Should I take them out and dry roots again or just let them be?

Don't think I'll be getting root rot anytime soon, thanks.

It will probably be OK. Probably isn't good enough for an ancient Copiapoa, but I'm guessing that in your case in the unlikely event that they die then they are replaceable.
