Need to re-Pot for many reasons but should I wait?

Post by rsales3 »

These 4 were purchased several weeks ago and are in various stages of flowering. I know I need to re-pot them with better mix and larger pots but was not sure if I should wait until they were done flowering. If it matters or not. Would re-potting them now stop their flowering process? Top two are Gymnocalycium s.baldianum, bottom left Gymnocalycium s.mihanovichii and right Echinopsis s.subdenudatum.
To re-pot or not?

The pot size is fine just get them out of that peat in to better soil as you say. It might slow the flowering a bit but shouldn't make too much of a difference.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Thanks. Got them in better soil mix now. The peat was a soggy mess. Looks like the big box garden folks have no clue of when to water their cactus. Seems like their watering cycle is every day, yikes
