I had the idea the plants of the previous caretaker where neglected. The seller lost interest in the plants years ago, and is now trying to sell the entire collection. I must say, there were some pretty nice Mammillarias on the selling table.

I assume as my M. theresae gets older, the stem will get a bit more compact as new tubercles will grow much closer to eachother (and older tubercles will go down the stem), now it will have enough light?

Even though it might not have had a tremendous amount of light, there were really a lot of flower remains on each stem (a dozen). I removed all remains to give it a more clean look, but you can still see a lot of the bits that were still stuck in between the tubercles. There were even flower remains below the soil.
