Tore some roots.

Post by BigGym »

In a nuttshell, planted some cuttings, went to check on the base and roots and knocked off 3 little fresh white root shoots about 1 inch long each. Soil is bone dry. Would I be better off just putting it back and not touching it, or letting it sit for a week or two out of soil to let the exposed areas heal, and then putting it back in the soil?

Good deal. I set him back up and said my apologies. He doesnt look any worse for the wear so hopefully he wont get to angry with me. I think I'll just back off and let him do his thing from here on out. Thanks again.

That always tends to be the best thing to do with plants when they're developing roots, no matter how much you want to take a peek. :)
