Rat Tail is dying
Rat Tail is dying
Hello everyone this is my first post, I am having alot of issues with my rat tail. I think I have sun burned it by transferring it outdoors too quickly. It was sitting on my window sill for a while. Now I am seeing some of the stems turn mushy, I think I may have over watered it. Is there any way to save this guy?

Re: Rat Tail is dying
try cutting and rooting a healthy stem. Bur no guarantees. its not sunburn but a combo of mealybug and other root diseases.
Lost a really big one that made lots of flowers. Had same issue as yours.
Better say your goodbyes to the poor thing, because its not going to make it.

There is white tufts on the severed end and near the base. I dont know what exactly wrong with it, but its definitely a multitude of problems- and i mentioned the only solution. The issue is that nutrients are not getting to the stems and they will shrivel too, unless you amputate and root them properly .
