Black spots & 'bumps' on orchid cactus
What is this and what action should I take, if any? Thank you!

Re: Black spots & 'bumps' on orchid cactus
I have seen this kind of symptom before, but do not know what causes it. It could be a virus or perhaps feeding by an insect with a piercing mouthpart.
In short, I do not believe, that this is a serious disorder, but more a cosmetic one.

I have several Cryptocereus anthonyanus. Some have that condition, and grow and flower as well as those that do not. I have never found out what it is.
